Yes, that's right. The main prohibitions during Ramadan are: mindful eating and drinking, smoking/hookah use, sexual intercourse, and intoxicating substances
I don't fast during Ramadan, but I also don't eat anything in public or on the street. I respect people who do fast.
Brisk walking is the best option. Some even consider it more effective than running.
