Thoughtful Daily Post Curation Compilation #57
By conveying our deeper thoughts on Hive, we can uplift and support each other across the blockchain. This week we had some wonderful authors visit to share their life reflections, wisdom, and snapshots of their experience on this rock with us.
No matter if they have responded to our weekly prompt, or posted on their own topics, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate thoughtfulness on chain! We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out and support their work! You may even make a new friend. ✌️

Our Eighty-Three Problems by @dbooster

I have been studying Buddhism for most of my life at this point. At first much of my study was from books. Later, I gained direct teachers. In the US I studied under a Zen master for a couple years. In Japan I did as well
So you think you can tell... by @honeydue

Heaven from Hell blue skies from pain Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? Been stuck in my head a bit. As part of my yoga course, I have to also do a number of extra classes in studios of my choice. It's a way of getting us acquainted with as many instructing techniques as possible, I suppose, while also ensuring we maintain a constant practice. So for the sake of convenience, I joined a nearby gym
From Mountains to the Classrooms : A DHT Hike for a Cause Journey by @yzamazing

Some hikes challenge your endurance, others test your patience, but then there are those that reach deeper, testing your heart. For the past nine months, DayHike Therapist (DHT) has been leading Hike for a Cause—not just for the love of the outdoors but to give back to communities in need. Since July 2024, we’ve walked with a purpose, completing 12 hikes across Cebu, with our final hike taking place at Mt. Naupa on March 16. Before this, DHT completed three projects for a school in Kalangyawon, Carcar, and this time, we chose a new beneficiary—the Kindergarten School of Barangay Cambangkaya, Catmon
Stronger than he was by @becca-mac

I believe that a person's character cannot be found, developed I suppose I mean, without that person first having experienced difficulties, hardship and adversities, suffering and even pain or grief. The good times, while enjoyable, don't force us to learn much, to strive or struggle our way forward; it's the troubles people face that us move towards a different and hopefully better iteration of ourselves and as a person moves through that process character is built. Human beings can be extremely strong emotionally and mentally, some have a spirit that seems almost unbreakable; but that doesn't come cheaply and never for free. It's earned. My guy took this image I like to think I'm a strong person and I know why; adversity, hardship, loss, grief and many other reasons
Looking At Mushrooms And Feeling Hopeful. by @consciouscat

Over the last 3 4 months, I've been working hard at transitioning my business from a predominantly service based one to a product based one. And it's been rough! I love serving my clients. I love meeting new people and watching people I've known for months or years grow over time. It's delightful
La importancia de ser honesto, también en Hive // The importance of being honest, also in Hive by @palomap3

Hola querido hiver.
Homecoming - a feeling that rejoyces us. : Thoughtful weekly prompt. by @peacefulsoul

Returning home is a feeling full of joy, relief, and comfort. I can't count back when I last felt the joy... Life is difficult when we stay apart from family, there's no doubt about this. But life happens and it takes us far from our comforting home. I have been staying apart from my family for over 20 years now
Thinking about my life without technology by @repayme4568

Each time I am not with my phone, I always feel disturbed, like something very important has been away from me, therefore, i should quickly go and get it back. Sometimes, when i charge my phone, i do get notifications prompting me to do a task with it. But, i wouldn't want to go touch it, I will let it to be charging, because that time was for charging, and if i want to consider how many notifications comes in, and when it does, that means, the phone will change my daily plans, because notifications will always comes, at any time. This morning, I saw a CD plate in the house, it was used by me few years ago, in practicing music production, some are softwares, and some are my released songs, i still have the songs on the CD plates, then, when i insert the CD on a computer, I found out that they works, and play the song's very well. Going back to those day's when most things were in manual form, and this CD was a manual object, from that time till now, I think this object wouldn't be working anymore, because it has been many years since i make used of them, moreso, they were moved from where i kept them by rats
Life before tech by @abenad

The last 24 hours have been a really suffocating one as I had no electricity and no internet. The worst part was how I had a free day, so I didn’t have anything to do. There was a windstorm right before a heavy downpour of rain, which caused certain accidents and electrical damages. The magnitude of the damage was very high, so the electricity company had to spend a lot of time to fix it. And by a lot of time, I mean 24 hours
Little Miss Independent by @oluchi31

This month, I joined the 9 to 5 ers and there's this African proverb that goes like 'Its the one with the scrotum, that knows where it itches him', I never related better. It means that it's only the person experiencing something that knows what he or she is facing. Others can only imagine. Before I started this work, I always thought working 9am to 5pm wasn't going to be that hard. After all, I did it everyday back when I was in school (secondary school)
