Tarot card illustration: If a shooting star were a goddess, what would it look like?

I'm surprised by the result of a midnight idea... I actually had plans to draw something else, got frustrated and ended up doing something so nice....

usually when I illustrate and something doesn't come out right I don't stop drawing, I just start drawing something else, and try to set myself some kind of challenge.
this time it was to make something as simple as possible.

and I didn't expect the result to be so good.

Before drawing I was wandering in my thoughts, I spent a good few minutes thinking about what I would like to do and as thoughts came and went, at some point a question came to me that I'm pretty sure was asked by my inner child.

because I clearly remember asking this kind of questions to members of my family especially my grandmother, and at some point I felt like I was only 4 years old asking myself

"what would a shooting star look like... if it wasn't rocks or dust... what if it was a human? no... what if it was a goddess? what would it look like? what would its eyes be like? what would its skin and hair be like?"

then it occurred to me how to begin as I was developing this train of thoughts.

the body would be with legs and arms close to the body, like a little ball falling from the sky, its skin would be pink, and every time it decided to travel through the sky it would turn black as the night itself, roasting with the speed and fire of a shooting star.

and her hair would be a long, fiery hair of fire.
that every time it falls it would flutter wildly across the galaxy as it travels to other worlds, to other planets.

And when I was halfway there, I thought why not make her a tarot card? she could be the star!

without even thinking that it would be one of the major arcana of the tarot, I had already put a lot of symbolism in the drawing related to the star card itself, without planning it or thinking about it too much... and I think that's the most beautiful part of it.

the star card is represented by a naked woman, which represents the fundamental essence of being, in the original card there are seven stars in the sky that represent hope.

there is much more symbolism but we will talk about it in another post. thanks for reading me.

if you like what i do give like and share :3
