To the Future
If I had the ability or the opportunity to travel to the future using time travel and saw that my future had a bad ending in terms of how people would remember me when I leave the world, and there was a means to change that after returning to the present, would I work towards changing it?
First of all, as we all know, time travel has been a trending concept we have seen in movies, and it often looks so real and almost believable, as if it already exists, whereas in reality, it does not. I feel like the future is something that has already been created, and we are merely living towards what has been designed for us. Because of this, I do not think it is possible to change the future after seeing the outcome. However, peradventure it is changeable, then yes, I would work towards changing the future so that I would be remembered for good when I finally leave the earth.
I would start by amending my ways of dealing with people and also my attitude towards money. I would give more and withhold less, no matter how tough life becomes. I would consciously try to live better and make positive impacts, knowing that my actions could influence how my story eventually ends.
But if, after seeing the future, I realize that I cannot change anything at all, I would not be bothered either. I would continue living the way I have always lived, without any extra intention of trying to please others or putting my life into depression because of people’s opinions or future judgments.
Like I said, I would not feel regretful at all. It would have been worse for me if I travelled to the future and saw that my life would become very miserable at the end. But since I would have lived well and my only issue would be not being recognized by people as a good person after I am gone, I would not be bothered. When we leave this earth, I do not think anything that concerns earthly matters still holds relevance, unless there is a reward in heaven for people who lived to be loved and remembered fondly by others while they were alive.

I agree with you that the future is something already prepared. The end is there , we are only working and walking towards it. Just that what we do today determines what we will see in the future tomorrow.
Whether or not the future is changeable, I think it's best we remain ourselves and keep doing what's right. We are not living to impress anyone.
You have said it all, to avoid that from happening you just have to mend your ways.
Being careful is one of the things but sometimes we plan our own but nature changes it with it's own plan

But then we also need to know that humans at the end will most times recall that which is not right while forgetting the countless good deeds you've done. It's just best to live right the way you think and not go overboard in trying to impress them just so to be remembered for good.
