The Ecency Site
Ever since I came to know about the benefits of the Ecency site, I have grown to love it even more and now use it more frequently than any other site on the Hive platform. I may not know everything about it, but the little I do know has fueled my interest in the site a lot.
From what I know and have experienced, the Ecency site is one of the most widely used platforms by users to access Hive, and I am one of those users. I find it very easy to navigate, especially when it comes to making comments and publishing posts. I fell in love with it even more when I discovered that it auto-saves or automatically holds drafts in case one mistakenly exits while creating a post. I had this experience one day and had already concluded that I had lost my draft because that's what usually happens on other sites. But to my surprise, I found my article still intact in the editing space.
Ecency Votes
This is another big and interesting feature of the Ecency site. The votes, although I do not get many of them, are very encouraging and motivate me to blog more and stay active on the Hive platform. For newbies, it serves as great encouragement when they receive votes on their posts made through the Ecency site.
Ecency Points
We earn these points as we use the site, both the web and app versions, by publishing posts, making comments, voting, and basically through almost everything we do on Ecency.
These points can be used to receive Hive Power delegations from Ecency, and this is a good way of converting the points into something useful while still maintaining their value within the system.
Web or App Version , Which One Do I Use More?
I mostly use the web version, and that is because I got used to it earlier before I even came across the app. Also, since my phone sometimes runs low on storage space, I decided to do away with the app and stick with the web version. Both serve the same purpose, and as far as I know, there is no major difference between the two.
The Ecency Community
It is one of the communities I was attracted to join, and I have written there a few times. It felt good because the topics were random, and I was free to express myself without being questioned or restricted.
Thanks!
You can always post about anything in the Ecency Community! It is a general topic community.
Thanks for writing this nice review!
Oh yeah. One of the reasons I stuck with the web app so long was because of storage space. That is a great pointer too. Thank you for participating.
