Relegation zone, who is next?
The 2024/2025 Premier League season has been an interesting one with happenings we never thought of, especially with the relegation zone.

First, it was Southampton.
As for me, even without doing the permutation and calculations, I already knew that there was no way Southampton were not going to fall into relegation when they had played multiple matches with consecutive losses while other clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal were having ten times their points. Well, it happened—they were the first team to be kicked out, and even though it pained them, it was not a new thing because they saw it coming.
Leicester followed.
It’s this club that actually surprised me. I never thought of them getting relegated with the form they used to win the Championship and earn promotion to the Premier League last year. They’re just in their worst form this season. This is a call for them to go back and right every wrong—maybe by sacking the Ruud van guy.
Who’s next?
It’s definitely Ipswich!
They know it already; they cannot escape it because they are far below West Ham with a whopping 15-point gap. I do not even need to calculate to see their chances of surviving, because their hope—if there is anything like that—depends on the downfall of West Ham in their few remaining matches, which is almost impossible to happen because West Ham must lose all their remaining matches.
They should start arranging their bags to go back to the Championship next season.
