Life Is full of trials

Life is full of struggles for survival, and these struggles oftentimes come with great life trials, and they're very natural. What matters most is how we handle them when they come. Some run away in the presence of trials, while some confront them with the mindset of conquering them. Meanwhile, some don't succeed in conquering them in the end, which means the trials finally conquer them.

For me, I don't have a fixed way of handling life challenges. Sometimes, I appear soft before the life trial and trust everything into the hands of God, while other times, I tackle the problem with a very hardened mind. I'm sure this is how it happens to many people too, and I want to give explanations and examples to prove that.

I have faced life trials whereby, before they happened, I had hardened my mind to confront the situation. But when they came, they struck me so hard that I couldn't hold myself together to handle the situation as planned. There was a time when an uncle of mine died. When he was sick, there were big signs that he wasn't going to make it. It's not like we wished for it, the signs were just there, especially in how he wasn't responding to treatment. And this uncle was a very dear one. It was going to hurt a lot if he eventually died, so I tried to harden my mind against such a happening and also trusted in God to keep him alive.
The death finally came, and it wasn't easy at all. The pain knocked off the hardness I had planned before. I cried heavily because of the pain of the loss, and I couldn't avoid it. I overcame the pain of the loss after some months, but it wasn't easy at all.

So that's exactly what I'm saying...
there are challenges that come and knock us off even when we have the mindset to confront any life trials that come our way. All we need to do is to pray that life challenges that will hurt us so deeply should not come to us.
