I read the user guide of my phone
What if I told you that I read the manual of the phone I'm currently using? I did and happened in a funny way.
Ordinarily, with the advanced lifestyle we have, people no longer read manuals for gadgets such as phones because they're very common and we already know how to use a phone. So there's no need to read the paper manual that came with it.

When I bought the phone I'm currently using, it was the first time I bought a brand new phone from the phone store and all the parts, such as an earpiece, charger and the little paper (manual) came with it. I already knew how to use a phone but I needed to just check, maybe there's something I needed to learn about the particular device. Apart from checking to learn any new thing from the phone, I just wanted to also have a feel of everything concerning the phone and I didn't just squeeze the small paper and trash it off.
When I glanced through the paper, I didn't see any reasonable thing. It was just the talk about the phone company, lists of phone features such as the ROM and Ram sizes, processor, camera qualities and some others. All these, I had known them already when I bought the phone.
I can't even remember if there were any advanced precautions on the paper. I doubt. The only thing stated there was to allow good battery charge before usage.
So you see that there's no valid reason to read manuals of these common gadgets such as phones? What is the essence of reading the manual when I already know the specifications and the common protective measures to keep the gadget on a good run? Absolutely no essence!
These days, it seems some phones do no longer come with the small paper as we used to have then. A neighbour that bought a phone, I was there when she opened it and I didn't see any other paper apart from the receipt she squeezed inside the carton. Maybe the paper manual fell off, I didn't know but I didn't just see any booklet. If that's the case, that means the phone companies have seen that people are not reading them, so no reason to add a booklet (manual) to the product.
Thanks!
