Technology: Making life Easier or Complicated
Hello Hivers, and members of the India United Community, hope you are all doing good. Today I want to write on the contest going on with the topic Technology: Making Life Easier or Complicated.
Let's look at the difination of technology: Technology is the application of ideas, creativity and wisdom to solve human problems and make life easier. With this definition we have finalize that technology makes life easier and not complicated.
To backup why I say so I will use that following point.
Technology creates jobs, technology has withness different generations, with different innovations starting from the stone age to now information age. What did all these ages do, they solve people's problem by creating better jobs and making away with the outdated jobs. People may criticize technology as a tool for unemployment, I will say it's a big lie. In different era, new innovations are born, before alarm clocks people needs to walk around in the morning to wake other people up. Alarm clock solved the problem by making it easy for people to sleep and know very well that the alarm will wake them and also safe them money.
Technology makes communications faster: Before post office delivered letter to people. Now phone made communication easier. Without phone hive wouldn't have been on existence. Imagine all of us in India united community sending in our weekly contest through a post office to India for checking. That would be very difficult. Technology has made thr world a global village. We can now communicate without any language barrier.
My third point is technology used to improve efficiency: as thr population of the world increase massively, like my country Nigeria. Technology helps make production faster to meet the demand of these people. Humans can work, but not as accurate as a machine. Machines can work without stress, and emotions. Machines can produce more products compared to human effort. With this massive production, the price will be lower because it's produce using machines that do not receive salary with this reducing the cost of production compared to the one human produced.
With this few points we have seen that technology doesn't destroy our jobs or make life complicated but it makes everything easier and better for mankind. Starting from communications to mass production and even to learning, were people can learn anything at the comfort of their home and get entertainment using games and other digital devices.
