Daily Blog-beginning of travel🛫 🛬

The alarm clock rang promptly at 5 am.
Good morning and by the way welcome to my trip to Madeira Island, in the next few days I will write a sort of daily blog here on the island and my visits there.

With a mixture of anxiety and a desire to get there, I got out of bed, ready to embark on my new adventure.

Finally 1 week of vacation, and best of all is the help that these lowcost companies allow us when we travel to different places. The destination was one of the most beautiful islands in Portugal Madeira, located approximately 1,190.62 km away from Porto, Portugal.
With the EasyJet plane taking off at 6:30 am, with an estimated duration of approximately 2 hours, I knew that the beginning of the day would be full of emotions and breathtaking views of the mountains.
It really was a place that I dreamed of several years ago, very close to Portugal.

I left the house, put my suitcase in the car and headed to the airport, still feeling the atmosphere of the beautiful city of Porto half asleep.
Quiet streets and little traffic
the sun was still up and the sky still had a few shades of gray in what would have been a full day!

I've been on a plane several times but for me it's the feeling as if I were always the first, it gives me that shiver and a little fear

Upon entering the plane, tension increased, but as usual he was very well received by the friendly crew with that natural orange design of this aeronautical company.

Very quiet flight and the feeling of being in the heights is incredible.
I was right next to the window and next to the wing, right in my favorite spot. Looking out the window, after almost 1 hour and a half I could witness the magnificent landscape of the island as we approached.
Of course, I couldn't help but take some beautiful pictures of the window at that time.

Am I the only one who thinks clouds look like cotton candy?

even from afar it was already visible the island with its very peculiar shapes for being volcanic

when we approach the landing, the size is already perceptible, as you can see it is not exactly small and we land in a place that can be called a city, in fact, in the front part of the island live about 15 thousand people that in funchal alone, we land at about 20 minutes by car from the center (Funchal) or 40 minutes by bus.
I advise you to rent a car because you feel more free to explore the other side of the island, the one that doesn't have a city but simply nature and animals singing

I really hope that you will accompany me on this adventure because I have a lot to tell and show you.
Maybe I can convince you to visit Madeira :)
