Along the trails of Portugal -Arcos De Valdvez

This weekend he was recommended by several colleagues to do some specific trails in Arcos de Valdvez, a land near Gerês, well known for its greenery and for the various waterfalls that sprout from the mount and run through it.
Nearby, one of the best drinking waters in Portugal is also produced, the "fastio" water.

the very winding trail towards the river with typical Portuguese pavement that in its context forms a road but with several round stones and without any kind of alignment, going down the slope becomes something quite challenging, in addition to comfortable clothes and suitable footwear is also Some knowledge is needed for the pedestrian route found after several km, the route itself is about 20 kilometers but I only did 10.
My parents were going with me and so I had to restrain myself a bit more because I knew that the final part would be the real challenge.

The river Vez accompanies us along the entire trail, recently wooden walkways were placed on the opposite side of the descent, the landscape is breathtaking, and in fact the forced path is too hihihi

The route lasted about 3 hours, I strongly advise you to carry water in a backpack as the difficulty of this journey can be classified as medium.
In my case it also took me a little longer because we made several stops to take pictures but also to catch our breath.
Here in Portugal we say a very funny expression which is

"to go down all the saints help"

Its fauna and flora earned it the status of a world biosphere reserve. silence is only conditioned by the sound of birds and their restless bed.
Many of the places deserve long stops to appreciate the beauty of nature. In addition to the waterfalls along the way, the river itself creates several river beaches that invite you to swim and spend time with the family.

Along the trail, waterfalls also sprout next to the wooden walkway where, in addition to appreciating, we can feel the splashes of water hitting our body.
For me one of the best catwalks I've ever been able to find above something very important, at the moment it's completely free all you have to do is have legs and have fun with the family.

I arrived at the place around 14:00 in the afternoon, after having lunch a typical dish of the region, I set foot on the path.

The path starts through a small village until there, it's ok, there's a bridge from a farm and we simply pass under it, previously there were several indications about the trail

After crossing the bridge, the path becomes more difficult, presenting us with these irregular stones and sinuous edges

Wherever we look, the views are breathtaking, the green fields and the green painted hills bring an inexplicable inner peace.

The paths for about 5 km were practically similar, very winding and with a descent of about 20 degrees, which makes for a slower route because you run the risk of falling because of the humidity of the stones in contact with your hiking boots end up slipping

The more we entered the hill, nature stood out, becoming dominant in our view.
There were many ferns and ivy typical of the region due to its humidity.

Water appeared at various points along our route, which made it much more refreshing, there were many damselflies passing over the water, an insect also typical of these places where water accumulates and ends up with small (pools) that remain more stops.
If you look carefully, you can also see some fish.

Nature blends perfectly with the human hand, and the fields of action fit perfectly into the surrounding environment.

Already at the bottom of one of the sides we reach the river Vez where there is a kind of water dam and they placed a prey where they close with some wooden sides and create a river beach with about 1.50 m in depth, ideal for taking a nice dip
