If memory serves right : another place where these fences are very common with electricity running through them is the national parks and game reserves in SA specially if there is a resort.
Take care hope they do not hike the taxes too much

Yes they all have these types of fences as a perimeter buffer. I have seen elephants jump when they touch the electric fence and it does no harm.
