Additionally make sure the young man does not get dehydrated. Give him plenty of water and see if you can get a packet of ORS from the local chemist.
If not prepare nimbu pani and add a little salt (not too much) it should help him maintain the electrolyte balance.
As a mother you must be quite worried.
Wish him a fast recovery.

Yeah, I am giving him ORS, and when the flavor was not of his choice I prepared iskanjbeen (nimbu pani) for him so that he doesn't get dehydrated.

As a mother, it definitely is a tough time. He has become wuite weak during these days. He is asthmatic too, which makes me more worried about the length of his illness. The weakness and fatigue in the body triggers other issues too.

As a caring mom I am sure you would be giving him aam panna with jaggery (gur)
to help him protect from the summer heat and regain the strength.
