AI mixed with Biology
Researchers at Google have decided to apply AI to biology. A very ambitious goal but their plan is to be capable of programming cells just like how programmers program software.
Just imagine if we could be capable of doing that, we will be able to manufacture medicines that would work with the same precision as computer codes.
I believe that's the future of medicine and if the team doesn't give up they can write the next big story after OpenAI.

With my understanding of biology, I don't see this being achieved anytime soon. The variables are too enormous.
Yes indeed I understand the variables involved. But we never expected AI to advance as fast as we're seeing it and yet here we are.
There's Artificial Intelligence, Spatial intelligence and Quantum Computing. All of which of we build before 2030 can give us the power to make this possible I believe.
A lot of things that looked Sci-fi can actually be realistic if only you can do the math well enough and that's what AI is good at. So all we need to do is keep improving it and I'm hopeful we'll get there.
Google could have become OpenAI if only they were optimistic about it when they discovered the tech industry 2017. Now OpenAI has taken over. This is Google's next vision and they are super optimistic about it.
In all of this, I am concerned about the ethical side, with indications emerging about using AI to create target lists during wars. This is just a tip of the iceberg the level of evils that can be committed using AI. You really trust corporations? I don't.
I share in the fear my friend, AI is the most powerful tool on Earth right now and as a tool it's no different from a gun or knife it depends on who's hands it falls into. I'm only praying the good guys win this otherwise yes We're doomed.
Let's hope to the better but never overlook the worst. You're right
