Nutritious and delicious rice with spinach, onion, and peas [Eng-Esp]

Today I'm sharing another delicious rice recipe that's easy to make and rich in fiber. I love making this rice with spinach, onion, and peas to give it a more nutritious touch, and also because it's perfect for a different kind of lunch. Plus, it has a unique flavor, and I'm sure your family will love it. I especially like it, which is why I recommend it. Here are the step-by-step instructions to encourage you to make it.


Hoy voy a compartir otra receta deliciosa de arroz que es fácil de preparar y rica en fibra. Me encanta preparar este arroz con espinacas, cebolla y guisantes para darle un toque más nutritivo, y también porque es perfecto para un almuerzo diferente. Además, tiene un sabor único y estoy segura de que a tu familia le encantará. A mí me gusta especialmente, por eso lo recomiendo. 1 cup of rice, 70 g of spinach, 1/2 cup of peas, 1 onion, 1 tomato, 1 clove of garlic, 2 cups of water, salt and pepper to taste.
01 taza da arroz, 70 gr de espinaca, 1/2 taza de guisantes, 01 cebolla, 01 tomate, 01 diente de ajo, 02 tazas de agua, sal y pimienta al gusto.

The first thing to do is separate the spinach leaves from the stems, wash them with vinegar, and wash the onion and tomato. Cut the onion into julienne strips and dice the tomato, spinach, and garlic.


Lo primero que hay que hacer es separar las hojas de espinaca de los tallos, lavarlas con vinagre y lavar la cebolla y el tomate. Cortar la cebolla en juliana y picar el tomate, la espinaca y el ajo en trozos.

Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pot. Add the onion and garlic, sauté for a few seconds, then add the tomato, spinach, and finally the washed rice, stirring constantly to prevent it from sticking to the pot.


Calienta una cucharada de aceite en una olla. Añade la cebolla y el ajo, saltea durante unos segundos, luego añade el tomate, las espinacas y, por último, el arroz lavado, removiendo constantemente para evitar que se pegue a la olla.

Next, add the water and, when it begins to boil, season with salt and pepper, cover, and simmer over low heat.

Uncover and, if the water has evaporated, add the peas, stir with a fork to prevent them from sticking, and cover again until the water has completely evaporated. Turn off the heat and leave covered for a few more minutes so that the rice becomes soft and fluffy.


Destape y, si el agua se ha evaporado, añada los guisantes, remueva con un tenedor para evitar que se peguen y vuelva a tapar hasta que el agua se haya evaporado por completo. Apague el fuego y deje tapado unos minutos más para que el arroz quede suave y esponjoso.
