It is good to see someone diving into deep waters.
Staying close to the shore is safe, but not as rewarding.
Getting into deep waters means facing the risk of getting drowned.
I think that is the reason why Father Miguel didn't want even to touch the subject.
But, you can't enforce your own view of religion on somebody else by calling him a blasphemer.
Everyone should be free to decide themselves.
