Cargo ships at the port look like they are waiting for me...

Hello, friends on Hive!

How are you all doing?

Watching the ships sailing is a favorite pastime of mine that makes me happy, so I decided to make a relevant post and upload to the Ecency community to share my feelings.

Have you ever wanted to become a sailor?

For many people, a job at sea is a a dream job for various reasons.

It could be the prestige of rising to the ranks of a captain.

Apart from that, the salary paid for a sea career is more than attractive.

Of course, you have to get used to spending months or years away from family and friends.

Personally speaking, I think that a career as a mariner offers the lure of freedom.

You can rarely find this type of freedom in a landsman’s job.

As a teenager, I used to dream of embarking on a ship and traveling around the globe; something has always attracted me to the sea.

I saw it as an endless adventure, and as an escape from situations that seemed to get me nowhere.

The blue blossom of the sea was there calling for me to live a fairytale life in the vast ocean.

Unfortunately, I never left land for the sea, and I never had the chance of actually living my dream.

So, whenever I see those big container boats at a port, I stop there looking at them for hours, and imagining that I was on board one of them on my way to unknown seas and lands.

I've also always loved the sea, the vastness and going explorations beneath it. For me, I'm geared more towards short adventures then having a dream job that entails staying at the sea. Amazing shots :)

Thank you!
It's great to know that other people share the same feelings as me about the irresistible beauty of the sea.
