Weekend engagement Week #176: Romantic night at the disco
Hello to all the hivers of this wonderful community, I want to tell you that this is my first post here and I would like to share with everyone how was my weekend, specifically Saturday night.
A few days ago my mother-in-law and her sister were telling my wife @wendy23 and me to go to a disco called the Pharaoh, to have fun for a while and get out of the routine, and why not ... we accepted with great enthusiasm.
The day arrived and we went there accompanied by my mother-in-law's sister and some friends, the entrance only costed 100 pesos... not bad, in other places where they offer a show at night they charge much more... the place as its name indicates is full of very beautiful Egyptian drawings with lights of all colors that give it a special 👌 touch.
As we entered the disco area I was a bit impressed as the place was already almost full, everyone was at their tables with their friends and couples and it seemed like everyone was looking at us 😅 ...this happens to me when I go to a place I have never been to... the first thing we did was to find a table to sit at and I will tell you that there was only one left 😱 we almost had to spend the night standing up.
The music that was playing was romantic music from the prodigious decade in Spanish, like José José, Marco Antonio Solis, Chayanne, Cristian Castro, Selena, Ana Gabriel, Luciano and Camargo... in short a lot of good music, we knew that they were not going to play music that we are used to, like reggaeton music since it was a special night for adults, although like us there were more young people enjoying the party.
Once we settled in we looked for some beers and snacks like: ham, cheese and croquettes 🤤...the night went by while we sang in chorus the melodies of those beautiful songs and every little while eating, drinking 🧀🍻🍾 laughing, 😏 saying little things in the ear.
It was 11 o'clock at night and a countdown started... I was like 🤨 what's going to happen? 🪩🕺 And there appeared a singer with a lot of energy singing romantic music and everyone was singing along with him, others were getting up from their seats to dance soft and sticky 😁.
But that wasn't the end of it, it was time for the Karaoke 😃🎤.... if you thought I got up to sing 😂 well no, I'm too lame for that, better I did it from my seat 😅... what they did was to play a song and a brave person got up, I thought only the older people were going to sing but no, some young people also did it and one of them made me laugh a lot because of his cracking voice 🤣.

The night was going on and it was already 12 something when we decided to leave, the night was very good but so much romantic music had me 🤯 besides we had my wife's grandmother alone at home and we didn't want to arrive so late.
In short friends I had a great time, I would like to take my mother one day to this place since she loves this music and especially singing it, I hope you liked my post without further ado until next time 😜✌️.

It sounds like it was a very fun night. And from what you say the music was great, I would have liked it, because I don't like reguetón at all, hehe.
It was a spectacular night full of classics of the decade, I always liked reggaeton, although I would have liked the music to be more varied, like David Guetta's good disco.

STOPA great option the Faraón. The last time i was there was a week before the country closed his Doors for the Covid-19. It was un the Disco Tema. I think i AM becoming in an ancient man🤨
