Learning To Fly In An Abandoned Factory- FPV.SkyDive Drone Simulator
Today I am back in the FPV drone simulator learning how to fly bandos at the Abandoned Factory map on FPV.SkyDive. This simulator can be downloaded free from Steam and can be used with either a traditional gaming controller or with an actual drone controller which I am learning on.
The background music is a set I made using the Liquid DnB sample pack on the Novation Launchpad iPad application and it was made specifically to use for these drone videos! I will be making more sets like this as well as shorter tracks to use for my drone videos.
I am having a good time making these videos and get the attraction for gamers. But I wouldn't call this a game, it's an actual simulator that helps you learn a marketable skill.

Nice tutorial and video. I've only tried the simulator once several years ago when I first got my drone. It looks like they've come a long way since then. A great way to practice and develop the fast flying skills for FPV, not needed as much for us slow flight photographers, lol.
It was definitely worth the small amount of time and effort to study and take the test for 107 license. Especially if you live in an area with restrictions, the LAANC capabilities are great.

Thanks man! Yeah I don’t think the 107 will be that difficult being that I already have a pilot’s license so I will be studying and going for it at some point, just not right now as I have too many other things going right now in life. Maybe by the 4th quarter of this year or 1st of next.
The simulators are awesome these days. You should give them a try!
Well yes, you could probably scan one of the study books over a weekend to pick up on some of the size / weight / height limits, etc. and then just pass the test, a lot of the other questions are just going to be reading the flight zone maps which you're likely already expert at...
