Trying Out Some New 3D Printed Tomato Cages
I finally found a tomato cage design that makes sense and works great! The first designs I worked with for stackable tomato cages were big a clunky. They took a long time and allot of material to print each section, so they weren't going to work out for me. But I found a different 3D printer file database called https://printables.com and found this awesome design for a six ring tomato cage. I can print everything in 3 different rounds and just put it all together then throw them out in the garden! As you can see, the new design (green) looks more like tomato cage you would buy in the store versus the square design I started with. So I am printing up a bunch of them so I can wrap up all my little tomato plants and have everything looking consistent. I planted this garden late, but I am already seeing some blooms getting ready! Now I just have to fight off the bugs and caterpillers, lol. But, the chickens love those as they make a nice nutritious snack for them, lol.
Anyway, until next time...
Be cool, be real, and always abide my dudes.
