Yeah, I ended up burning all my cards last night. It's been a long time coming. Can't say the same about those. Lost a ton of money in those cards. Should have gone with my gut from the beginning, but I wanted to show support, although nobody has really supported my projects at all, but that's the kind of guy I am...

Not anymore, lol...

Moving all my funds to better places. Powerdowns are about to start as well.

so many better places.
I can’t stand the asking for support and then just dipping on the chain and lying about it.

At least Leo has always talking about the goals of moving Leo off of HE

Yeah, I am pretty much getting attacked on X now by the whales with Starkers telling me all my bridges have been burned, all over just being honest about things. I mean, at least Khal knows if I am being critical about something, it's because I want to see the platform get better. These other guys are just like, 'oh your pretty much anti-hive at this point'.

So yeah, fuck it, I am pretty much pulling the plug. I appreciate what LEO is doing for sure and is why I still support this project, but even still, my time is worth more doing other things at this point. Time to start cutting my digital footprint anyway.

yeah Strakers doesn’t like anyone disagreeing.

Even if you say you respect this difference of opinion they can’t handle calling out the issues with the chain.

He also calls me anti-hive.

My view is the tech is sound but the whales are keeping the chain down.

When a business comes along that will utilize it.
It will just get forked anyway.

Glad I am not the only one he has said that to, lol. I find it hilarious considering I am currently in development of a suite of wordpress tools for Hive, lol. But I can easily stop that too, or just finish and use them for myself.

The problem with the tech is DPOS, other than that, it would be great if there was an actual decentralized consensus mechanism. After being involved with Hive for so long and with the Cosmos ecosystem for a time, which is all DPOS as well, it's all a whale shit-show and has turned out the same every time.

This is all why I have pretty much gone PoW maxi at this point that I am in a place that I can mine again.

Back to my roots!

Sad to hear, but understandable.

Yep, is what it is. The whales don't like you having your own opinions that go against theirs.

The problem with DPOS is that if they don't like you, they can downvote you into oblivion. There is nothing decentralized about DPOS.

Got some suggestions as to where to move funds? I still see some benefit of the Hive chain, but it has been written in the stars for a while, that the whale-show is an uphill battle and basically just going downhill.

Well, you will have to answer that question for yourself. I mean, I see benefit of it as well, but as I said to Simplegame, DPOS is the problem, in my opinion based on being involved on an infrastructure layer for several DPOS chains at this point in my crypto career.

I can tell you what I am doing is going back into full on miner mode. I am powering it down to go into more mining infrastructure.

With proof of work, there is no popularity contest, there are no witness votes, no whale influence over the network, just good old encryption backed by real energy, and in my case, mostly solar energy.

I like that! I'm waiting for my first BTC miner. A NerdQaxe++ I was gifted.
When I get it, I'll be looking into the solar power stuff. It's just an 80w device, 5 th/s, so it shouldn't be too difficult to find some solar solution for that.
Maybe I can for my phones that are mining $VRSC too

No, that's not difficult at all. Get a 200W panel and a 200AH LifePo4 battery. You can run it at 12V with a 120V inverter attached to your battery. With 200W, you could probably run your modem and router as well.

Standard here is 240V. Most stuff we can get here run at 120-240V, so my guess is it wouldn't make too big a difference. My fiber router thing is over the front door, poorly placed compared to.... everything 😅
