Things never end up how they start, at least in my world. Change is a constant as you are building things up. After getting the chicken fort and greenhouse setup I started to get a better vision of how I want to build things up.

What I did was I moved all the pine straw that I harvested from my surroundings from the place where my little mini vinyard is going to be set up so that I can turn it into the first garden bed. The pine straw found a much better use as the bedding for my little utility area behind the greenhouse where I will keep my tools, compost bin, etc. I have an idea for a water setup as well which would go well in this space.

There is a ton of awesome rich that I need to get moved to fill the bed, so that is the next project. As long as I get a little bit done at a time, I won't burn myself out with everything I have going on. On top of it, we still have at least one more possible nights of frost in the next week, so I am being patient about putting seeds in the ground. It gives me enough time to get the garden bed all ready.

While I was working, the chickens came to watch and see what I had going on, then of course, my main man Chip was out roaming around watching me work. At least I am always in good company.

Until next time from Moss Rocks Farms...

Be cool, be real, and always abide my dudes!

Looks great man. I would love to have a chicken coup, but my dogs would love to eat the chickens.

Nice setup. What are you using as a bin? Will you build one of wood or use a garbage can?
