Making Some Plans For Video Content Completely Unrelated To The Markets

If you guys have noticed lately, I haven't been producing much market or trading related content. I have just gotten bored with it to be honest as I am getting lost in a sea of other 'influencers' that are trying to bid for your attention with flashy gimmicks and silly looking thumbnails, but I am not that guy. I have tried to be educational and help others learn the game. But, those posts just don't get the traction they used to because almost everyone in the crypto space wants to put out that kind of content.

So, based on that, I think that if I am going to continue on with trying to create content, I have to go in a different direction. I need to incorporate all the things I love into a new format, or I am just going to lose my drive completely.

The Shift Has Already Begun

If you have been following me lately, you will have seen that I have down the rabbit hole of 3D printing, and those Liketu posts have been getting more traction than really anything I have done in a while next to some of the homesteading content. So, I am going to continue with those type of photo posts and blogs. But, I have a new idea that I am going to start running with very soon...

FPV Drone Simulator Live Streams and Videos

Another new avenue for content that I am going to be taking is FPV Drone simulators. For those that for some reason may not know, FPV stands for First Person View. When you are in this mode with a drone, especially wearing goggles or just immersed into a big screen, it feels like you are in the cockpit. Being that I am a classically trained pilot, this is as close to being in the air as I can get on a budget, lol.

Before I start flying in the real world though, I am going to master my craft in the simulator. I posted a Liketu post the other day showing my new setup, but as I was playing around last night and jamming to some awesome drum and bass, I came up with a great idea for some new content. I can live stream my flight sim sessions and basically create my own gamer style streaming channel with using my music in the background.

Making The Tunes

I will be making all my own backing tracks so that I won't be dealing with any copyright garbage on main stream video platforms. So what I will be doing is creating my own sets using the Novation Launchpad app on my iPad and doing some scratch work over the top. I will also be on the lookout for some royalty free music that I can mix together so that I won't get hit with stupid strikes. But really, I want to make as much as I can, because that just allows me that musical outlet that my soul needs, while practicing my love for flying, and flying fast, lol.

Live Interaction

Once I can start building up some kind of audience on whatever live stream platform I use, I will be getting more into live interaction during my flights. This will give me some decent social interaction and gives the ability to build an actual community, which is what I really want to do so people will hopefully keep coming back! I want to be as entertaining as I can while having fun. I guess this is where the gamer streamers do well.

So to wrap it up, I am getting OBS setup to with the flight simulator and working on piping in the background audio and my mic so that I can do talkovers. I want to be able to fly to my music to make it a more immersive flight experience, not only for my audience, but for me. I guess I am in a place that I want to get back to having fun with my content. I started taking things too seriously and it hasn't really gotten me where I was wanting. So it's time the dude gets back to, well, being the dude and enjoying what I do instead of it feeling like work! So be on the lookout for some new video content from me coming soon!
