Today was a great day on the weather side, so I got out on another one of the back trails and walked up a good bit of the mountain side to do some surveying around the property. Plus I wanted to go and play with my new machete! Ran across some downed trees and such that need to be cleaned up and located a couple of spots for a good campsite and another for a good hunting greenfield so I can try to get a deer at some point. If I can't hunt this year, then I will at least do some good recon over the season and be ready for next year.

One thing is I don't have a deer rifle or a bow. My rifle is not a big enough caliber to take deer hunting so I need something bigger. I don't have a local ID so I have to get that all sorted out before I can get a gun. I may see if I can borrow one this year from one of my uncles, so hopefully I can get out and get me a buck this year! I love that wild game.

I did a nice little 20 minute walk and talk that I want to load on 3Speak, but their site is down, so here are some pictures to tide you over!

I hope you get a gun as soon as possible so I can see you hunting maybe you could take a picture or something

Yeah I am going to have to borrow one for a while at least until I get my ID. I have guns, just not one that quite has the range and dropping power I need. Plus right now, it’s not gun season so I would need to use a bow.

It's a big knife, lol. There are all kind of uses. But that link is cool... I'll have to check that out and see how we can integrate something like that into Hivelist...
