Had a Successful Show at the Great Garden Festival with my 3D Printed Products
It's been a while since I have posted to LikeTu, so it's good to be back on and posting regularly! This weekend has been a wet and nasty weekend where I live due to a hurricane that has swept through, but the Great Garden Festival still happened and it was a great show for my new business, finally!
My first show was a bit of a bust, but this one was not that! Even with the nasty weather, I made some decent money. If the hurricane wasn't a factor, then I would have probably done even better!
This show was cool because all the vendors were all homesteading or DIY YouTubers, so I got a TON of pointers on how to better build not only the 3D printing business, but also the content creation that goes along with it all. So, with this new found inspiration, I am hoping to start upping my game as far as the content creation goes.
With this, I am going to have to start expanding more beyond the Hive, unfortunately. This is going to have me focusing more on Instagram and Youtube. X is an utter trash heep at the moment, so I don't even care about my presence there, lol. I mean even the FPV community on X is all about war, lol. My IG feed is all fun freestyle drones, gardening, 3D printing, puppies, lol. So that is all much better for my mental health than all the political garbage on X, haha.
Anyway, I had one lady that was going to pay me in crypto, but she said it would have been too complicated because it would have been coming from like 4 wallets, and had no choice but to use Venmo (I am not touching crypto on that platform, lol). But I was nice and gave her the discount anyway, I mean she did drop like $200 with me on a Hydro Garden, so why not, lol.
Anyway, this was a great experience to really get me out of a depressive rut that I have been in and getting me back in gear, because I know my stuff is cool. People think it's really cool too, and this time folks thought it was cool enough to pull out their $$$!
Anyway, until next post... You know the drill...
Be cool, be real, and always abide my dudes!
