Gotta Learn To Let Go To Move Forward

Well, that was worse than watching Goose die in Top Gun. Seriously though, that felt like losing a family member. I felt it had a soul. I had that van for just over 5 years and lived full time in it for 4 years, which is longer than any house or apartment in my adult life. What a crappy way for my van life adventure to end, but that's the way she goes.
Oh well, gotta shake it off and let it go! It's time to move forward with the next chapter in my life which will be an even better adventure!
Just a few short days until Chip and I hit the road in a rental, and hopefully I can find something cheap and quick when I get there to get me around. Already have some good opportunities lining up. So I am looking at the bright side while wiping my van tears away.
Be cool, be real, and always abide!

Sorry to see the van go. Good luck with the new chapter.
Thanks, yeah it was a sad kick in the gut but gotta move forward!
Used to drive large, old Mercedes trucks all over Europe, did the interior from scratch in one of them too. Super valuable experiences & skills, you can always get back to it later! :-)
It’s been a great experience and has taught me a ton about myself
Ah damn that happened to me 2 years ago with my camaro that i had for 2 decades.
Yeah it’s not fun. It becomes a part of you.
The van is already part of you just like a family member and that is why you are feeling sad this way
Sorry about that
Yep, it was my refuge for 4 years, but time to move on
