Another day, another project on the homestead. There is never a shortage of things to do! I am excited about this little project because it is the first little greenhouse that is going up on my farm! And when I say little, I mean it, lol. It's not big, but it's big enough to get my seed starters going, as well as use for something of a utility house for my gardens.

This greenhouse was an eBay special. I got only paid around $60 for it, but that was way cheaper than what I was seeing for the exact same thing on Amazon, so I am not complaining. It's a start and gives me an idea of what I really want to get going here.

All of the pieces were nicely packaged together and the instructions were pretty easy to follow. It didn't take me too long to figure out what went where, and it started to take shape! The hardest part was getting the tent part on by myself. That would have actually made a pretty comical video, lol. It came with some little strings and stakes to tie it down for security, but I also added some extra security by using some thick wire to create some long 'staples' that I stuck in the ground around the poles. Each little connection that touched the ground got a staple, so it will take some pretty strong wind to move this thing around.

So now to get some seeds started and finish up this hydro unit so that I can get some stuff growing! Next project is to mulch around it by taking what I have in my little vineyard area and moving it because I am converting that into a big raised bed. So just moving stuff around, no biggie! I am excited that things are finally starting to take shape! I have come to the conclusion that this first season is my starter season and next year with be with things start to really thrive. Just like anything, just takes some patience and hard work!

Until next time...

Be cool, be real, and always abide my dudes!
