Because It's Friday And You Love Chickens
It's been one of those weeks. I got a bunch of stuff done, but got off of my Hive game, which is all about to turn around. So in the spirit of Friday, I give you chickens, lol. These are some pictures I took today and a couple over the week.
My hens make me smile. Not only do they give me some really awesome eggs, but they are also a great source of entertainment, lol. They both have very distinct personalities and are really quite funny and I'll venture to say they are pretty smart, even though they have their bird brained moments, haha. They have quickly become my little food giving pets, haha.
I have been working hard the last few days on my crypto research site, Coin Logic, and haven't been as active on Hive as I would have liked, but that is the way it goes when you get in the zone. I am working up a whole other post about all of that.
Anyway, happy weekend to you all and go out and have an adventure!

I feel you just love to take care of hens
They are just goofy and fun to watch and try to interact with. They are just clucky little hens, lol.
How much eggs do you get 🤔
1 per hen per day generally. I am going to get a couple of more hens soon. My uncle helped me with these to get started but now I am feeling good about being a hen daddy so I want to expand a bit. Eventually going to have a full flock, but just getting my feet wet.

Our three ladies are not too productive and so I'd like to get more. They are partly pets, but fresh eggs are great. Got a bit of a rat issue though.
Mine lay an egg each per day most of the time. The black one is younger than the red one so I have longer with her. I want at least 2 more for this pen. Considering a big production flock to sell hatching eggs for income. You can do pretty well just on eBay with those.
