RE: LeoThread 2025-01-16 17:37

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

At this point, it's right to say there's no need writing long form posts on inleo. 7 straight days of writing without a single curation upvotes from Leo voters. Is there something I am not doing right?

Not sure, what's the secret sauce. A #glossary post about how to get the Leo voters attraction, would be great.

That's an interesting development. It's also been a while since I've seen any curation posts from leo and the usual stake-based curation requests.. Perhaps something is going on inside that we don't know of.

Well, I envisaged that the more the users increases the thinner the curation upvotes will be, but to be totally out for over 7 days looks funny.

Perhaps your posts fell short of the criteria?

I don't think so, I use to see their upvotes in every two days when I haven't subscribe to premium. Only they know why it's like that right now.

Throughout the period I spent without premium, I never got a single upvote from them. Even when I sub to premium, the upvote is unpredictable for me, but I'm glad as long as I'm able to make enough for the next sub.

Since I got the subscription I have only been voted twice, and I have just 13 days left before the premium expired.

13 days is still a lot of time, provided you write posts. 5 straight upvotes and you should be close to ROI, at least.

I just hope it works as you said.

I believe so. I had a similar experience with my last premium sub. AT the end of the day, my fears were put to rest.

Long form is not really the focus right now. The people that get me to read their long form tease it in their threads.

And I consider myself a long form preferrer (is that a word?).

It is just the way of the ecosystem right now and we have to learn to adapt.

I would still do long-form, but just do everything you can to convince people in threads to give it a look.

People who a primarily user other front ends may scroll long form more often though so I would not abandon it for sure.

From what you said, it implied that it's a general issue for everyone on the platform. If that's true, then no need to worry anymore. I enjoy making and engaging on thread, just that I need that upvotes on long form posts to make up for premium subscription.

Ha! Well i wouldn't listen to me. If you look at my profile, you will notice that I have written ZERO long form posts so far. 🤣 🤣

I do like to read them though. 😀

I have passion in writing and so I like to write to share my opinion and knowledge with others. So, even if it's one person that read me, I am satisfied.

very true but I'm thinking that s the platform keeps growing, there'll be more Threads than long form only if Upvotes are the same. If Upvotes were big on threads almost everyone will stop long form
