Splinterlands Virtual Real Estate Updates: Resource Exchange Rates Are Down!

SPL - Default - 8.23.25 (1280 x 720 px).gif

Another weekly update of my Splinterlands land moves! No noteworthy acquisitions this week but I did trade away some of my other plots to a well respected member of the community.

I am finally down to three main locations in Praetoria. Read on to find out how I did this past week!

Routine Harvest

Region 46 - Thalos

Let's start with our plots in Region 46, Thalos.

Prior to today, I have harvested resources two other times this week. This is because I had to shuffle some workers around.

Tax collection from Keeps is only done once a week, typically on Saturdays.

Now, let's collect some taxes.

Region 46 Keep Claim 3 - 25.8.23.png

Region 46 Keep Claim 4 - 25.8.23.png

These natural resources accumulated from taxes will be swapped for DEC and then used to further develop our guild: TeamPH.

Region 50 - Ia'telda

Heading over to my first personal tract, we will perform the same procedure in claiming our resources though there's an additional step that we have to do before we are able to harvest Aura in this region.

Region 50 Harvest 2 - 25.8.23.png

The Claim All button is grayed out due to the insufficient Stone and Iron in the region to do a full harvest.

We have to obtain Stone for the region by shipping/transporting some from Region 46 to Region 50.

We will trade swap Stone for Iron and have them transported into this region.

We can now do a Claim All in this region.

Let's see how much taxes we have collected in my Keep.

Region 77 - Darkmooth

Let's see what we got from a full week's worth of harvesting this new tract!

And now, the new Keep!

No free totem fragments this time! Hopefully I get lucky again next week!

Resource Swapping

I did mention last week that I was going to stockpile the resources to build wagons.

I instead swapped them for DEC in order to be able to activate more plots.

DEC earned - 25.8.19

DEC earned - 25.8.21

DEC earned - 25.8.23

Just a bit under 30,000 DEC this week.

Starting next week, I will stockpile resources from harvesting and from taxes in order to build some Wagon Kits for repairing damaged wagons during Conflicts. I will also need to hold onto a few for future use.

Once I have enough Wagon Kits built, I will start swapping land resources for DEC again.

Also, the prices of each of the three non-grain resources have been dropping.

Today, the prices of these resources are below 1.0 in terms of the Grain Factor.

Guild Updates

As previously mentioned, the taxes collected from the Region 46 Keep will be converted to Guild Power and will be used to power up our Guild's buildings.

LP Position

The final step of my Weekly Routine is increasing my position in the Grain-DEC Liquidity Pool. This is done via the Trade Hub.

LP Contribution 1 - 25.8.23.png

LP Contribution 2 - 25.8.23.png

I usually use a portion of swapped DEC from non-grain resources as part of the Grain-DEC pair.

I will contribute excess Grain from two of my regions into the pool.

LP Contribution 3 - 25.8.23.png

LP Contribution 5 - 25.8.23.png

LP Contribution 4 - 25.8.23.png

LP Contribution 6 - 25.8.23.png

My share of the pool is now at 1.33%. I'll keep adding more in the coming weeks.

Further Developments: New Milestones

I did trade away the last 10 of my remaining plots in Region 119 and completely deactivated all my plots in Region 114.

I currently have 430 plots with 119 of them active!

image.png

430 plots. I own 430 out of the 150,000 plots that will ever exist!

I am contemplating on activating more plots. Every new Power Core costs 5,000 DEC. We will see in the coming days.

Regarding current production, my lineup is as follows:

image.png

I am debating turning off my Aura labs and just harvest natural resources instead.

I have over 500k Aura stockpiled anyway, and it'll be hard to match the pricing of the Midnight Potions on the market.

Plus, the other resources needed to be spent on harvesting Aura can be swapped for DEC instead for higher weekly earnings.

What are your thoughts?
