Splinterlands Virtual Real Estate Updates: Crafting Conflict Repair Kits

It's the weekend again and it's time for another Virtual Real Estate Update from the Web 3 game we love the most, Splinterlands!
I did things a bit differently the past week. I moved workers around, rebuilt some of my worksites, and accumulated resources instead of swapping all of them for DEC.
What my plan was, you ask? Read on to find out!

Routine Harvest
I have been posting tutorial-style articles for the past couple of weeks.
I am assuming that the usual readers of my posts are already familiar with the steps I take in harvesting land resources.
Moving forward, I plan to just provide a summary-like approach of this process.
Tax Collection - Keeps
Now, before we start claiming taxes, we need to make sure we do our regular harvests first.
This way, there will be more taxes collected and therefore more resources to acquire!

No luck on totem fragments. Hopefully next time!

Resource Swaps
Wagon Kits
Like previously mentioned, I did not convert all of my harvested resources into DEC this week.
What I planned to do instead is to gather enough materials to build some kits that I can use to repair my wagons that may be damaged during the Conflicts. The leftover resources, if any, may be swapped for DEC.
Each time you receive an airdropped card, one of your wagons is damaged and must be repaired (same resource cost) before it can be used again.
One wagon will become damaged for each airdropped card you receive, whether or not you used the wagon for this conflict. For example, if you have 100 wagons, 30 filled with cards accumulating points, and earn 40 cards as airdrops, you will have 40 of your 100 wagons damaged.

Also, the prices of the Wood, Stone, and Iron have been below the Grain Factor for at least a week. This means that Grain currently is the most valuable resource and that it's cheaper to acquire the other resources by swapping grain for them.

Do we have enough resources to build Wagon Kits?
For each kit, we need:
- 40,000 Wood
- 10,000 Stone
- 4,000 Iron
- 2,500 Aura
After transporting resources from other regions into Region 50 (where I have a stockpile of Aura), we now have the following. Enough to build 10 Wagon Kits!

I now have Wagon Kits in my inventory. I hope I find some use for these items!

Aura Labs Shut Down
I temporarily shut down the 3 remaining Aura Labs I have. I converted them back to Grain Farms in order to accumulate other resources required to build the kits.
Plus, I have approximately 500k Auras accumulated. If Midnight Potions weren't as cheap as they are right now, maybe I would have opted to continue to harvest Aura.
Right now, I do not see the need to keep accumulating Aura for myself, hence my decision to convert the labs to farm grain instead.

Swapped Resources
We did have a bit of leftover resources from regional claims and from tax collection. These were swapped for more DEC that I can use for other things in the game!

8,411 DEC. Let's see where we can use these DEC I basically got for free.

Guild Updates
The taxes collected from the Region 46 Keep will be converted to Guild Power and will be used to power up our Guild's buildings.

Slowly, but surely. I strive to help contribute to the growth of the guild!

LP Position
The final step of my Weekly Routine is increasing my position in the Grain-DEC Liquidity Pool. This is done via the Trade Hub.
I usually use a portion of swapped DEC from non-grain resources as part of the Grain-DEC pair.
This time around, I will contribute 2 million Grains worth of shares into the pool. 1 million Grain will be converted to DEC, while the other million should complete the pair.

My share of the pool is now at 1.349%. I plan to keep increasing my position in this pool in the coming weeks.

Further Developments: New Milestones
Since acquiring a new tract, I have been working on activating more plots.
I bought a few Power Cores recently and now the number of my active plots is up to 121!

I also sold 2 plots to a friend a few days ago. This is to help him manage the tract that the Investment Club (which I am a part of) owns.
Shortly after selling him the plots, I found 2 more affordable ones on the market. Even though the new land plots are located in a different region, they were listed for prices that were hard to say no to.
Plot count remains at 430 owned.
Regarding current production, my lineup is as follows:

As mentioned above, I do not have any Aura Labs active anymore. Maybe in the future, I will activate them again.
The Lab Permits do not expire anyway. We will see.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this article. I hope I was able to provide valuable information and impart some ideas that can help you decide your next steps. I have grown my Splinterlands assets over the years and I plan to keep on building!
Whether you prefer the exhilaration of playing battles, the calmness and idleness of building your digital real estate, or just the fun of collecting these fancy images of collectible cards, I am hopeful that you enjoy your time here in Praetoria!
If you have questions, comments, or feedback, please let me know! Let's all learn and grow together and set each other up for success! VoNak! Together We Thrive, Kapamilya!

500k Aura wowzers! Are you buying Midnight Potions?
I'm not. :)
I actually planned on selling them but there are plenty other who can produce the potions more efficiently and are selling the potions for cheap on the market. I couldn't compete with them, unfortunately.
me neither - wagon kits though ... :)
The kits are for the few wagons I have with not a lot of CP. :)
For the first Conflict, I was guaranteed one, and I got one card. Therefore, I only needed 1 kit.
For the 2nd Conflict, I am guaranteed one. Who knows if I get more than that. 😉
