Land Acquisition and Activation: Road to 500? - A Splinterlands Virtual Real Estate Update

SPL - Default - 9.13.25 (1280 x 720 px).gif

Another week has passed and it's time for another Splinterlands!Virtual Real Estate Update!

While I did a bit more shuffling of land workers after acquiring some good ones off the market, I also obtained more land plots! Some plots were selling for prices that were good enough for me to decide I wanted them.

I have also continued to swap resources to DEC in spite of the lower DEC exchange rates.

Interested in my progress and in finding out what I did exactly? Please read on and enjoy!

Routine Harvest

Regional Claims

I have set up my regions in a way that I would always have enough Grain available for a full claim. While not mandatory, it's more convenient, at least for me, to have adequate Grain in every active region I'm in and having the CLAIM ALL button available.

In case you don't have enough, you can do individual claims for each resource. Only a few steps added to the process so it's not that bad.

I have not been harvesting Research, SPS, nor Aura, but in case you are, don't forget to have enough of the other natural resources aside from Grain that will be needed before claiming. In the event that you don't have enough, utilize the trade hub and acquire the missing resources by swapping either using DEC or other resources you have in excess.

The screenshot below is for Region 46, an hour after I did my full claim and tax claim. I did the same full harvest for my tracts in other Regions.

Sample Regional Harvest

Tax Collection - Keeps

Moving on to the Keeps. I own 3 that are located in different regions.

I always perform regular harvests before claiming taxes. This way, more resources will be stored in the Keeps' storage, and therefore more resources can be claimed.

Keep Claim - Region 50

Keep Claim - Region 77

Still no luck on totem fragments but it's all good!

Resource Swaps

The exchange rates of natural resources have been below the Grain Factor for a few weeks now. This implies that at current rates, Grain is more valuable than Wood, Stone, or Iron.

Resources For DEC

I try to be consistent with my weekly resource harvest and swapping. Below is what I obtained for the week.

DEC Earned - 25.9.9

DEC Earned - 25.9.11

DEC Earned - 25.9.13

41,155 DEC for the week! I would have obtained more DEC had I also swapped the Grain I have but I have other plans for it.

Guild Updates

Per usual, the taxes collected from the Region 46 Keep will be converted to Guild Power and will be used to power up our Guild's buildings.

Guild Contribution 2 - 25.9.13.png

The amount would vary on a weekly basis but what will stay consistent would be my weekly contribution. This way, I am able to assist with the growth of our guild!

LP Position

The final step of my Weekly Routine is increasing my position in the Grain-DEC Liquidity Pool. This is done via the Trade Hub.

I pair my excess Grain with it's equivalent amount in DEC.

My share of the pool is now at 1.461%. What do you guys think my share of the pie should be before I start venturing out to other Pools?

Other Developments

I'm back at it with the activation of more plots! I purchased more Power Cores using my earnings for the week.

As mentioned earlier, I also recently acquire more land plots. My total count is now at 444 owned!

Regarding current production, my lineup is as follows:
