S.C. Bose - Flight Crash & The Myth

The only conspiracy that has always intrigued me from the past is the disappearance of Subhash Chandra Bose. S.C. Bose was the freedom fighter who not only gathered inland and outland support, striking the right balance between timing and circumstances. His diplomacy was quite visionary and ahead of his time. He was active in Indian sub-continent politics from the 1930s to the 1950s, for 2 decades, he was one of the keystones of Indian politics. But his disappearance and the news that he left us in a flight crash still baffles the knowers.

S.C. Bose - an Indian civil servant who quit government designation to actively participate in the freedom and independence fight, was also called The Prince of Indian politics. He gathered international support to edge out English during the rapid changes in global affairs. He also served as the president of the National Front - INC.

But where did he disappear?

As per the national archives, S.C. Bose died in a flight crash but rumors are always around that he was not present in the flight but attempted to get out of the limelight as he was both troubled by inside politics as well as the changing national and international affairs. The Indian government also launched a dedicated website to clear the myth that is still present around him. One can check the declassified letters and resources at - http://www.netajipapers.gov.in

At the moment the website seems unresponsive but many external links can point you to the right files. Some say that S.C. Bose secretly went to Germany and some say that he went to Japan and lived there for the rest of his life. I was not amazed by knowing that he might have gone to Japan as R.B. Bose - a freedom fighter and also a close connection to S.C. Bose, lived and settled there. R.B. Bose was accepted by the Japanese society and he also married a Japanese citizen. This also implies that there was a decent Indian diaspora and network that could have been present back then which might helped S.C. Bose as well.

Another theory

Another popular theory about S.C. Bose is that he might have returned to India in the 1960s, after the independence. He lived as a saint/monk in northern India. People also say that Gumnami Baba and S.C. Bose a the same person only and not two separate individuals. Though the basis of this theory is the similarities between their facial features and timeline which signifies that Gumnami Baba is S.C. Bose. I am yet to see all the classified papers released by the government but this one conspiracy theory will live forever in our minds. His death shocked the entire politics inside and outside of India.

It is still hard to believe as there are endless possibilities and not one of them is backed by any credible reports except the one published which states his cause of death - a flight crash on the 18th of August, 1945.

this is really something, I really believe in his return to India and I think Bollywood can create a movie on this.

Very interesting, many people say that they may be time travelers, that is another of the existing theories.
