Der Ausgleich eine Minute später war allerdings sehr kurios.
Ein "Airball", keiner weis wo er ist, der kommt fast senkrecht herunter, springt genau auf den Rücken von Markström und von dort ins Tor, sehr unglücklich.
So stand es dann 1:1 bei sog und bei Toren, der erste save eines Goalies war dann erst fast zur Halbzeit des ersten Drittels.
Im zweiten geschah dann ein kleines Wunder, ein Schuss von Palat fand den Weg ins Tor, dass ich das noch erleben darf, so ging es dann mit 2:1 ins letzte Drittel.
Der Ausgleich war dann wieder ein Wahnsinn, ein Schuss aus spitzen Winkel, den darf Markström nie bekommen und wie es so ist wenn es nicht läuft bekommt man auch noch ein drittes, plötzlich ist man hinten und weis eigentlich nicht warum.
Also Goalie raus und auf ein Wunder hoffen, das kam dann wirklich noch in Form von Meier der den Puck eine Minute vor dem Ende im Tor unterbrachte und dann folgte...., richtig, "Teichhockey" 3 vs 3 und das ist eben Devils Land, diesesmal war es Bratt, der den Puck an der eigenen blauen Linie erkämpfte und den Puck durch das five hole von Dobes versenkte.
Fazit:
Insgesamt war es ein unterhaltsames Spiel und Ende gut alles gut könnte man sagen, aber ganz so ist das nicht.
Man war zwar insgesamt die bessere Mannschaft und das Ergebnis passt schon so, auch der Punkt für Montreal ist ok.
Aber, wieder ein "soft goal" eines Torhüters (und ein unglückliches dazu), das muss einfach besser werden, aber das schlimmste an dem Abend war dass sich mit Hamilton der nächste ganz wichtige Spieler im 2. Drittel verletzt hat und nicht mehr zurück gekommen ist, wenn der länger ausfällt wäre das eine Katastrophe für die ohnehin schwächelnde Defensive, hoffen wir das Beste.
Zumindest hat man die weisse Weste bei Heimspielen behalten und die Führung im Osten wieder übernommen.
