Die Prospect Challenge läutet immer den Start in die neue Saison ein, aber was passiert da genau?

Ansonsten ist es eine bunte Mischung aus ganz jungen die das erste Mal so etwas wie Profiluft schnuppern dürfen und solchen für die diese Saison wohl schon so etwas wie die letzte Chance ist in die NHL zu kommen.

Eine Überraschung war allerdings der erst 18 jährige noch ungedraftete Nathan Lecompte, der mit 4 Scorerpunkten in zwei Spielen überzeugte, da bin ich mal gespannt ob er einen Einstiegsvertrag bekommt.
Ein paar der Spieler werden wir dann wohl auch ab nächster Woche im "richtigen" Camp dann sehen, wenn es um die Kaderplätze in der NHL geht.
Ich würde da mal tippen auf Casey, LaChance, Hämeenaho, Malek und vielleicht noch ein, zwei Überraschungen die dann aber sicher relativ schnell wieder in die AHL geschickt werden.
Insgesamt kann man sagen dass es im Nachwuchs der Devils immer noch einige Talente gibt denen man den Sprung in die NHL zutrauen kann, obwohl in den letzten Jahren es schon einige geschafft haben und auch sehr viele gute weggetradet wurden.
Ich bin dann man gespannt ob es im NHL Camp dann jemanden gibt der alle überrascht und es in den NHL Kader schafft, das passiert ja immer wieder mal.
