A distant cloud drifted slow but steady across the sky. A feckin eejit ran along the ground. Breaking a sweat trying to keep in the shade of the cloud. And he was definitely heading your way. The smart or the foolish ducked and hid. Most, could not understand. That is the way of life.

Dollar signs lit up the road to the city. Flags from all different kinds of currency dancing in the winds. This was better than the streets of London, paved with gold. An abundance of people to build from a new foundation. And that was all the talk of the town. The great things to come. How this place was an open secret. That everyone outside ignored the potential in pursuit of the physical world.

Gatherings of people everywhere. Huddled in chatter some moving from group to group. Some groups splitting to smaller and others joining to make a large group. though mostly the former. There was hustle and bustle everywhere. Chatter laughter music stories games. There seemed to be something going on all of the time.

The feckin eejit thought to himself. Late again to the party. Or on the other hand, maybe punctually late. He decided to accept the thought of punctually late. No matter the pile of shite ye find yerself in. Make the best of it, It can still get worse. The be thankful, is in the it hasn't YET!

Entering the new city, he had with him his tarp and 13 stick to keep it up as a roof. That and the shirt on his back and the things he left behind. That's all he had so this is a short paragraph.

Well, I suppose the things left behind might be worth a mention. One such time while passing through mountain terrain. He came across a well defined trail. One that was frequently travelled. It was late in the evening and the mountains darkened the road ahead. The well defined trail made it easy to keep going for a couple of hours longer. He would make good distance today.

Light up ahead. a soft orange glow. People, seems he would also have company tonight and a warm fire already made. Punctually late as usual. The glow got brighter and ten wider, no not wider there was multiple fires. Entering the camp he asked the first campfire if he was okay to join the group. Greeted and welcomed he made his way a across the campfire to the other side. Wanting to be ahead of the crowd when morning broke and make his get away. Even though he would enjoy the company tonight.
