Orcanorc's Magical Journey - A Skyrim Tale - Part Thirty Five - The FINAL part
Return to Markarth means blood spilled
"Have you heard any rumours lately?" Orcanorc asked Jonna the barkeep in Morthal, who went on with explaining, Falion is able to cure people of vampirism but she isn't sure how.
This was exactly what he needed to hear, to be sure he could speak with Falion about it and ask for help so no more daylight reductions in strength would occur!
Talks happened between Falion and Orcanorc and as long as a filled black soul gem was brought to him, he had offered to cure his vampirism.. which one was already ready to be passed over.
"Very well, meet me at dawn just north of town, you will see the ritual circle where I will be curing you" Falion advised as he sent Orcanorc on his way.
It was a short run to the ritual circle and a Sanguine Dragon was encountered just before it, flying around and seemingly trying to stop the ritual from going ahead. It chomped up Orcanorc easily while in range and threw him like a ragdoll through the trees!
This time was different but still really tough.. the distance was kept by using staff weapons to deal great damage, as he kept getting sprayed by the blood mist the Sanguine Dragon was unleashing. Potions were consumed to keep the healing up through the fight and managed to help Orcanorc survive long enough for the kill to come.
"Bloody hell this one was super tough. Must be that blood magic and powers it has, powering it up to be so strong" Orcanorc said to the others while sweating at how close it got again.
The group moved on to reach the ritual circle and waited until dawn until Falion was there, ready to cast the ritual spell and lift the Vampirism curse. "Let's get this over with so I can enjoy sunlight once more without issues" Orcanorc claimed before the ritual started.
The next step was to stop off at the next Saints bandit camp near Windhelm before heading back to Markarth, in an attempt to reclaim it from the guards and people that set him up and to show his mighty force!
Some mudcrabs and rieklings were encountered, along the way to the next camp and had to quickly be disposed of. The Rieklings always can be a tough crown if getting hit and not being careful.
"You will not take this camp or this weird creature from us, I can guarantee it!" Shouted the Seducers Bandit Leader and the battle got heated, with Orcanorc using his berserker rage to get in and wipe out the leader and his following of now dead bandits.
This mob had dark seducer gear pieces, but like the saints stuff these were also valued quite highly and had good stats on them for use.
"Halt! For your crimes against the citizens of this town, I order you to surrender yourself" A guard from Markarth advised, as he found Orcanorc's group a little outside of the city.
"Luckily for us it is one of you against our big group" replied Orcanorc with a smile as he proceeded to execute this guard.
As the Markarth city walls were reached a group of guards had come out to greet them.. going toe to toe was not a smart idea for Orcanorc because he was unable to survive multiple blows, before getting taken out after he had killed off one guard.
"Make sure you don't get close this time my friend, we will take Markarth back and slay those involved, with setting you up for a murder the guards committed" claimed Lydia as they had a better go at the guards coming outside the gate, this time.
The group entered Markarth and shortly after looking around.. a big group of guards came to kill them all because they were not going to let up!
Orcanorc stood back while using the eye of melka staff weapon to shoot fireballs at the guards, this was very destructive with damage done and then the others were getting in close to keep up the heavy damage.
"Now for the last two of you puny guards, revenge for setting me up and murdering people is bitter sweet and joyful for me now" Orcanorc said as the last two were killed off, leaving a big pile of bodies amidst the battles end.
Before they could all have a rest at the inn and think about retiring here as the town's real guards, one final battle against the last few guards had to take place.. fireballs were instantly coming out of the staff and since there was only a few guards now, there was enough fight left in the group to get through this battle, seeing the victory through to the end and getting over to the inn for a hard earned drink!

Orcanorc and the group can now, happily rest up and enjoy time away from adventuring now that Markarth has been reclaimed.
