Daily Life: The Foods We Had Today
Good day, everyone. It's another day and it means there's another story and life experience to share. But, let us just keep this one simple and we will going to write about the foods we had for today.
We woke up in the morning and we are having a gloomy and cold weather. It's been this way for weeks already, and it makes us feel lazy to get up early. But, we are now adults with responsibilities. We got out of bed and went outside to refresh our mind and start another day.
Breakfast: Bread, Egg, and Coffee
And before anything else, we need something to energize us. We cooked some scrambled egg and bought bread. Of course, breakfast is not complete with a cup of coffee. These foods are perfect when shared with some conversation on how we will spend the whole day too.
Lunch: Fried Chicken
Since we are going to work, we also need to prepare our packed lunch at home. We came up with this idea to save money instead of buying in cafeterias. In this way, we can also cook what we want. And as for today, we had some fried chicken with soy sauce and calamansi.
Dinner: Fried Fish & Vegetables
When got home from work, we prepared our dinner and we wanted to make something healthy. We still had 2 slices of fish at home, so we just friend them. Also, we cooked some bamboo shoot with jute leaves (saluyot) for our vegetable dish. Not so fancy and pricey, but we really enjoyed our dinner!
