DAILY LIFE STORY: "Passing Through the Wet Road"

The rainy season has started here in the Philippines. There had been some typhoons in the country, and the rainy days has finally begun. As of today, we are experiencing heavy rains. It started from last night and did not stop until then. The classes had been suspended. And the roads had been wet since then. But despite all these, we still need to go out for the errands we need to accomplish every day.

Early this morning, we needed to go to our neighboring barangay. It is because we need to print some documents for school. We are only riding a motorcycle, and we had to make the rain stop for a bit before going. Once the rain calmed down, it was our cue to go out.

It took us only 5 minutes of ride going to the barangay next to ours, and found the printing shop. We already sent the documents through their email account, so when we got there, it was ready for pick-up. But after a minute, the rain started to pour down again. This time, it is not that heavy. We have decided to still continue with our ride.

Going back home, we noticed the wet road. It is because of the nonstop rain for days. And when getting through this kind of road, we need to be extra careful. It is slippery and might cause an accident. Lucky for us, we got home safe and sound. We managed to get through the rain and the wet road!
