Wrote down some quick thoughts on a strategy I've had for the past couple of years: collaboration even among direct competitors.
Toxic maximalism is an immediate red flag to me in 2025. I'm only interested in helping out collaborative communities.
But among those, just ask around how many "competitors" I've gotten speaking gigs, introduced to payment processors and exchanges, shared spaces and podcasts with, etc.
Collaborate or die. We can fight once no one's using fiat anymore (and even then, no).

What you're proposing can be compared 2 the introduction of D UPC code first used in supermarkets. Competitors hated each other, but they ailed in the same way: long lines @ checkout. Bar code scanners together w/ UPC codes helped them all.
Yes, I'm sure similar success strategies have been copied throughout time.
