Today's a great day to re-read this the article I did on "Stop Hoarding Gas Tokens!"
Many of THORChain's problems came from piling too much on top of the gas token, until the system started to break.
@mayaprotocol has the $MAYA investment token, so it's much better structured. And the most promising proposal to save THORChain introduces a similar token.
Single-token ecosystems (where the same token fulfills the gas, investment, and product roles) are going to struggle in the future, with few exceptions.

This was a great read. Provided a new way to classify cryptos and definitely one that should always be taken into consideration going forward. Much appreciated
Thanks! I'll keep on doing new ones that apply this to specific cryptos.
agree Maya is more structurally sound
Yes, which is interesting because the most popular THORChain recovery proposal adds a $MAYA-esque token.
I'd support that
wow this enlightens me

im almost to 10 $MAYA
Nice, a good start. While it's still cheap it should (hopefully) be a good deal, once we have tons of fee revenue that would be nice.
