I grew up believing in the God of the Christian tradition. Still do, but I'm significantly less convinced I, or anyone, knows exactly what that means.

If God is infinite, people can't have perfect understanding, so they use a bearded old guy as a placeholder.

I do think at some point, science and religion will merge and agree on what "God" is.

So basically: I believe in God, I'm just less and less sure I understand exactly what that is.

That makes sence to me. I guess for me is the terminology. I do believe in a creator. But to what extent that believing to the point of faith is not something I can do. At least in this moment in time.

There is a creator/God/guiding force/etc. Is it a more explicit, sentient (in the way we humans understand) deity, or is it just the laws of the universe? No idea.
