I'm usually more into the business world than the science world but the topic of extinction of the human race by Meteorite crashing into the earth is a rather really interesting one.

I believe it's Worth answering the question of how rare these devastating situations can occur.

The fact is that you'd be surprise are easily a situation like this could occur. There's a real reason why astrophysicists and scientists study space with an objective of tracking astroid movement.

Here's an interesting question for you.

Why is it that you have this uncountable number of webpages given unto the apocalypse in the year 2012?

And you look them up and you know what it says?

It says, Earth, the sun, the center of the galaxy will come into perfect alignment on December 21st of the year 2012 and the extra gravity that would be created due to that alignment is gonna knock the Earth off its axis and it'll be the end of the world as we know it.

This is due to the fact that the change in the axis of the Earth will result in vigorous climate changes that could literally cause serious end to all living things.

That's exactly what the Apocalypse is all about in the science world.

Do you just believe that or do you ask questions about it?

The next question I think should be, how often does Earth, the sun, and the center of the galaxy align?

I believe that really should be your next question. Since theat alignment is predicted to cause the earth to tilt off its axis, it's important to know how often the alignment would occur.

The answer to that is it aligns every year on December 21st.

So the statements that the world is gonna end in 2012 because of that alignment are patently false, otherwise we would have ended a long time ago on some previous December 21st

I'm alive, we're all alive and economies are advancing more and more, so obviously that apocalypse hasn't hasn't happened.

If you're not equipped to even know what next question to ask, it would be much better tht you really don't even start asking any questions at all.

I'm not requiring that you can calculate the force of gravity, I'm not requiring that you study Newton's laws, I'm requiring that you know how to ask the right questions in the first place.

The point I'm trying to make is that, it really isn't true what those rumors say in the internet.

There are asteroids flying across the earth on a daily basis. We have equipped ourselves to deflect any of them that would pose as a threat.

Of course the science is not perfect yet but we're all safe and we've been safe since Mankind evolution began.

So guys take a can of soda, some sandwich and enjoy yourself because the Apocalypse ain't happening anytime soon.
