Some Hard Rock and Heavy Metal for Three Tune Tuesday

It's Tuesday again and time for some more fun with hard rock and heavy metal! But before we jump into the music, I found a couple other fun items this week to share first.

In the US state of Arkansas there is a state park called Crater of Diamonds State Park. It's a state park that you pay an entry fee and look for diamonds. The park is actually and old kimberlite volcanic tube that is rich in diamonds. The best part is what you find you take home with you. I found one there years ago while working for three weeks in Little Rock, Arkansas, but just a small one. A lucky guy found this 3.81 carat brown diamond there just last week!

How's that for some hard rock? Yes, I know a very bad pun... If you thought that was bad, how about some heavy metal?

This could be yours for only $111,839! So would you prefer the gold or a Bitcoin? Tough call!

Diving into the music for real know. First thanks to @ablaze for starting and continuing to sponsor this fun weekly event. If you don't yet participate feel free to jump in and join the fun by creating a post with three fun songs and just use the tags #ttt or #threetunetuesday . Also not a bad idea to do a shoutout to @ablaze . One random participant wins some HSBI units which are always a great prize!

Today I made an effort to find all live performances, not always easy to do. But they are always more fun than the videos!

Sammy Hagar

Nicknamed "The Red Rocker", he started his career in San Francisco, California in 1973 as front man for the band Montrose. That only last a couple years due to band disputes sending him onto his solo career. He had some success as a solo artist from 1976-1987 and that's really the music of his I most enjoy. He then replaced David Lee Roth to front Van Halen but it wasn't as good as his early stuff. Van Halen wasn't quite as good either, but that's another story. So going back to some of the early stuff, this will be "Heavy Metal", doesn't it fit well with that huge gold bar?

Volbeat

Formed in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2001 this Danish heavy metal band has produced some great music over the years. The first song of theirs that I ever heard was "Lola Montez" and I've been a fan ever since. I decided to go with a song today I hadn't heard for some time now, but it is a lot of fun, "A Warrior's Call":

Five Finger Death Punch

This Las Vegas band started in 2005 and over the years has had many lineup changes just like many other heavy metal bands. They have produced some fun music though! Today I decided to share one of their best known songs, "Jekyll and Hyde". It came off their 2015 album Got Your Six.

That will wrap up this week's Three Tune Tuesday. I hope you enjoyed the music, and the hard rock and heavy metal! Please feel free to leave any questions or comments below, and as always thank you for all of your support. It greatly appreciated. Have a great day day everyone!

Loved so much the Hard Rock and Heavy Metal reference!
Five Finger Death Punch was one of the bands that I've posted a wile ago, but that I didn't knew quiet well till then. Volbeat was a very good surprise for me. I've never listened to this band, but I liked the track that you shared with us.
I'll look for more songs in Spotify or Youtube!

Volbeat is an amazing band, being from Denmark they wrote a full album dedicated to figures of the American old west. Lola Montez and Doc Holiday are really good. All of their stuff is great, it's hard to go wrong with them!

Five Finger Death Punch is fun too. I couldn't resist throwing in some Sammy Hagar though!

I saw the other day that Volbeat is coming to one of our local venues. I mentioned it to my buddy, but I am not sure if he wants to go with me.

I’mm not a Haggar fan at all. But I like the other two. I’ve seen both, 5 Finger Death Punch I’ve seen numerous times they are awesome in concert.

I agree, Death Punch is great live, and so is Volbeat. I've never seen Hagar live, but really only like his stuff before Van Halen.

They are, Volbeat was solid. I’ve only seen him with Van Halen at the Monsters of Rock tour in 1988.

You pay the entrance fee, you look for diamonds, and you can take them home. What more could you ask for. Even the small one you find is something to feel lucky about.
I like to dance .This kind of music is louder. Well, I wouldn't know how to dance to this rhythm, hahaha. In the last video, I like the drummer's outfit.
I wish you a happy night.

It's a very cool park, really just fields that they plow up periodically that unearths more diamonds. It really is a lot of luck, not many people find them.

Heavy metal isn't for dancing though! Very hard to dance to!

It really is fun, I went for a few days and found nothing. Then my last day there I saw a little shiny rock and it was a diamond! People will actually dig pits looking for them and mine was right on the surface. That's where he found the brown diamond as well, just right on the surface!

I always wanted to go thee and when found a three week position in Little Rock I took it just so I could go on the weekends to look for diamonds!

That’s awesome, i’m sure it draws lots of people looking for that one large diamond just waiting to be dug up…. Or just under your feet!☺️

Thanks for sharing this creative post on hard rock (diamonds / music) and heavy metal (gold / music).

I still hear Heavy Metal by Sammy on Ozzy's Boneyard Sirius Radio to this day. Rock The Nation by Montrose is an early Hard Rock classic that I like.

5FDP is well known in Metal circles. Fun fact is that their original drummer recently married one of my paid guest writers at YouTubeStars.com from back before I found this place and moved by blogging here.

Rock on, hard and heavy! \m/

Ozzy's Boneyard does have some good music on there as does Rock Nation. That is an interesting story, 5FDP did go through a lot of lineup changes, she must have been good looking!

I've only really blogged here. It's fun and it keeps me going! I bet it was expensive paying guest writers for material. Much easier here! Rock on!
