RE: Sunsets can also have art in the sky.

Absolutely gorgeous sunset shots you picked up there. It really is amazing how much color the clouds pick up as the sun goes down, it really is beautiful. Sorry to hear about all of the heat, it's that time of year in the southern hemisphere. When I first moved to South America when I was 18 to do ski instruction the reversed seasons always seemed so odd. But it's a beautiful place just like Africa!

By the way that mountain shot is really cool!

I do hope you get a break from the heat soon, roasting at night is never fun!

Thank you for the kind compliment, and yeah, we just have to live with the heat. The good news is that the weather burau reckons that we have some rain on the way, and it's really great news. You seem to have led a very interesting life, as it must have been great to be a ski instructor at such a young age. I am sure that you could handle the change.

The rain might bring a great relief for us.

I hope it comes and cools things off for you! I didn't speak a word of Spanish when I moved to Chile to be a ski instructor, but most of the guest were international and spoke English. I learned Spanish fast and spent the next decade of my life in South America and the Caribbean. The good old days...

Yep! It came, and even when our area had the major brunt of the storm, we still had enough rain last night to cool all things off.
It must have been difficult for you at the beginning, but I think that you are now fluent in Spanish. A decade is a long time, but it sounds like it brought you much good memories that will last for a lifetime. Life just works like that, and it gives us much good memories to think about in our older days :)
