Good morning everyone, welcome to another rainy southern California day. There are a few more days left in the storm system, and flooding is a big concern in Los Angeles right now. But here in Orange County so far things have been doing okay and my house hasn't floated away yet. I call that a win! As a matter of fact, there's been no flooding around here, so we've been lucky.

Moving onto the post of the day, it is Saturday so I'll talk a little about my Hive Yearly Goals. But to kick off I'm going to start with the Silver Gold Stackers Twelve Days of Christmas. It's a yearly event you share some items you would like to receive for Christmas, they just have to be precious metal related. Today I am up to day 5.

As most of you know I am a fan of Mexican silver and gold and have collected it for years. However, there are some coins out there that have long been eluding me. The 50 peso Mexico gold coin is one of them, mainly because they are rather expensive. These were produced starting in 1927 to celebrate 100 years of independence from the Spanish rule, and really were beautiful coins with a lot of gold in each one! Here's one I found that I would love to own:

These beautiful coins were made with 90% gold with a grand total of 37.5 grams of gold, which translated to 1.206 Troy ounces of gold! That is one hefty gold coin with a bullion value of $4,922 as of the time of writing. However, you will noticed this coin is graded by the coin holders on the edges. Assigned a grade of MS 65 the asking price of this is $5,650. It's higher than the value of the gold due to it's beautiful condition. As I've discussed in my last posts the MS means mint state as if it just rolled out of the mint and 65 refers t 65 out of 70 total possible points available. A near perfect coin!

I would love to have any of these coins in mint state to be honest, they are much more affordable than US gold in comparable condition and gorgeous. With gold being as expensive as it is these don't come cheap, but they are worth it. We'll see what Santa can do this year (or maybe next year...)

Gold is still pretty expensive at $4,080 per Troy ounce making it a little expensive this year...

Now for my Saturday Savers Goal of the year

Hive Power

My gold (goal, I have gold on the brain) for this year was to achieve 10,000 HP which I accomplished. I then upped the goal the 13,000 HP, but it looks like I won't quite make it as I had to power down some to cover some unanticipated expenses. It will keep me above 10,000 HP and with posting I may yet make it to 13,000 HP, but it looks a little less likely now.

I had to even part with some other crypto holding as well which I wasn't happy about, but life throws you curve balls at times. And as they say, you have to roll with the punches...

Hive Power Goal 10,000 HP: 100% Complete
Hive Power Goal 13,000 HP: 92.4% Complete

It may work out yet, I'm holding out hope!

I have cut back a lot of second later tokens this year, I am holding onto some of the ones I've shared this year including DUO, PIMP, PAKX, DBOND, DAB and AEGIS. I do continue to delegate HP to ESDI and LEO to earn tokens, as well as PAKX. But many other tribe tokens I have to cut back on after the failure of dCity and the BRO family of tokens. Many I have sold out completely. We'll see what the future brings, hopefully brighter days!

I have been impressed with Hive over the last few days with BTC dropping below $100K, Hive so far is holding it's own.

I was afraid we might see it dive below a dime, but so far so good! Hopefully it will continue to hold it own even though it is down from $0.12! I've got my fingers crossed!
