My Hive Goals for 2025, My Week In Review for Nov. 22, 2025
I'm glad it's sunny today here in southern California. It's a great day to enjoy the outdoors and forget about the horrible markets we've been dealing with this week! So far today I've been enjoying the morning in my backyard and drinking some good expresso. The perfect way to start a day in my opinion. I hope you all have been enjoying your Saturday as well!
Saturday is typically the day I talk more about my goals here on Hive as part of my weekly post for the Saturday Savers group. I joined the community over a year ago to help me achieve some of my goals here on Hive, and it's made a big difference. Taking time each week to focus on where you are in respect to reaching those goals really does help.
Rather than share my woes of the overall markets today, I'll stick with my Hive Power goals and some secondary tokens. It's been awhile since I've talked much about them, so today is the day!
Hive Power
My initial goal on HP this year was to reach 10K HP. I pulled that off some time back and moved the goal up to 13K HP. I was on track until I had some unexpected medical expenses popped up forcing me to power down some to help cover them. I even am parting with some other crypto as well, which really doesn't make me happy as the market is down. But that's life, I may yet make it to 13K as I continue to post. It's slowed down my progress toward Orca though, that is for sure!

TGLD
Towards the end of this year I have pulled back on my second layer tokens quite a bit. I've been parting ways with many tokens and really haven't bought anything new. I did make an exception this week with the new tokenized gold token.TGLD is put out by LeoStrategy and is pinned to the price of SPDR GLD fund at 1:100. It has a great APR especially to those who buy in during the pre-sale as long as you have them staked. I didn't have a lot of liquid Hive but I still picked up 5 of them. Having a token not pinned to Hive makes sense at the moment with it being down right now. The initial price was 30 Hive per token but now it's up to 33 Hive as Hive prices are down a bit and gold up.
I've heard a lot of controversy about this one, whether or not it's going to be a great long term money maker or not, I don't know. We'll have to wait and see, but it's a novel concept here on Hive, so I figured why not give it a shot! Nothing ventured, nothing gained...
Gold has had a great year, and I think there is still a lot of room for growth as the world's economy appears to be close to flatlining. We may see gold hit new all time highs in the next year or sooner. I'm always a big believer in holding gold and silver, it is real money unlike fiat!

PIMP
This was the secondary goal I set for the year to reach 50K PIMP. I hit this sometime back and have added since then. I currently hold over 62K and will be hanging onto this one. It's backed by physical silver and BTC, so it's always going to be worth something. Plus it's run by a reliable guy and my good friend @enginewitty ! Keep up the good work brother!
PAKX
PAKX is a great token that is backed by a minimum of 2 Hive per PAKX, that ratio will be increasing in the near future. It may have already been raised, I don't always stay on top of these topics as well as I should. There are only so many hours in the day. I had a goal to pick up 100 and currently hold 110. It's a great project focused on recruiting and retaining new members to Hive in the Pakistan community, and I like any project that is focused on onboarding!
Other Hive Engine Tokens
I am continuing to delegate to EDSI to earn more tokens every week. I also continue to hold onto my DBOND and DAB tokens. I do delegate to Leo to earn some LEO tokens, I figure since they are deflationary now, it may pay off down the line. And of course I continue to pick up some more DUO tokens on a regular basis!

There are some big guns powering down massive amounts of Hive power. It’s getting a little scary. But I’m not really in it for the rewards, I like the interaction more.
Sorry to hear about you needing medical treatment. Hope everything is ok now.

I agree, many have cashed out entirely already. Unfortunately it's ongoing stuff medically. A lot out of pocket and stuff the VA won't cover.

The funniest thing is two of those huge accounts who did 100% power down including the guy who runs precious (so I’m guessing that fades soon) told me I was silly for saying Hive would go to Dime by year end. Mocked me for powering down half my stake between .30 & .68 cents in December & Jan. If they just powered down 3 weeks same time they’d of raised sans funds for 100% 13 weeks now. People tend to not like when predictions go against there personal belief then they panic sell and throw in towel. Always smart to take money off table when pump happens. Now I can buy back same 25K I sold for 75% plus discount having a .41 average thanks to the two weeks power down above .50
Eh tends to be the human mindset. I’m just glad I acted on my prediction so now I’m begins house money and can not worry about wanting to power down. If 15K HP goes to a penny it’s fine cause I sold much more 400% higher. That’s the way to do it.

I spent the majority of the day watching my nieces and nephews play sports. I'm just plugging along doing what I normally do here on HIVE. Still trying to hit 120K HP by the end of the year...
That's an awesome day! How is the weather this weekend out there? 120K will be quite an achievement, way to go!
It was cold, but sunny today. I think we have a bit of a warming trend for the next couple of days. I honestly haven't really looked though. I just hope it is nice on Thursday when I have to grill the turkey breasts for the fam.

I saw you post about the latest Leo Strategy offering and I think it is great they think outside the box. Hive is not new and we need innovation to survive.
