Hive & BTC Markets and Silver Gold Stackers Twelve Days of Christmas, Day 4

Fall is definitely in the air, things have started to cool off down to normal fall weather. So often here I am spoiled by the warm sunny weather, but mother nature has different plans over the next several days. Rain, and lots of it! I honestly don't mind, I really enjoy the rainy weather!

As luck would have it there was a nice minipump on Hive yesterday up to $0.14. The only problem is it took place at three in the morning my time, so I slept right through it. Oh well, that's what I get for sleeping through the night! Maybe there will be another one in the near future.

But before I dive into the markets, I want to kick off the day with my Day 4 pick for the Silver Gold Stackers Twelve Days of Christmas. You can share just about gold or silver products, and today is another one I found on good old eBay! This is an early American coin known as a Capped Bust half dollar. I have collected some over the years and I really enjoy the coin.


This is a graded coin that was assigned MS-63 by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). What the designation means is that it's in mint state as in would have when it left the mint, and was awarded 63 out of 70 total points available. To be honest, it may be a touch under graded. I would love this coin but it's asking price is too rich for my blood at $5,799. But I would love to get any of these coins that are in mint state. Isn't that a beautiful coin? And it is 198 years old! I won't look near that good when I hit that age! lol

Santa would have to be very kind on this one, but it will likely stay on the wish list for the foreseeable future. But wow, what a nice coin!

Now to change up gears just a bit, today I want to go over Hive and Bitcoin. Hive is struggling a long and trying to regain $0.12. Like I mentioned earlier the was the very brief pump to $0.14 which I missed. Hopefully there will be another chance in the near future to cash in on a nice pump. But I think we are going to see this sideways movement as long as BTC is doing the same.

Bitcoin continues the crabwalk sideways. On the positive front, it is staying above that all important psychological benchmark of $100,000. If we see things fall below that level and stay there things could get very ugly for the price of Hive. So let's keep our fingers crosses that we see a nice rally in BTC up to $150K. That should drag Hive up along the way which will be very welcome!

I am hopeful we'll finally see that push towards $150K in the next month or two, it may even take until next year. Patience is a virtue so they say... It's a bit of a waiting game right now!

The rain isn't staring up until tonight which is OK with me! I saw your pick a few days back and I've been wanting to restart my collection of these as well. They have really gone up in price compared to even ten years ago. I love early American coins, although I'm going to have to start bringing in some more revenue to fund my collecting!

That's usually the case with me too. I finally have enough HIVE liquid that I just placed a limit order out on the market at the point I am comfortable selling back into HBD.

I keep a modest balance of liquid Hive and HBD, I catch the pump when I happen to stumble across it. We're back into my Hive buying zone.
