A Whole Lot of Shaking Going On...
I recall taking this picture while visiting some friends a couple years back. The balloon pilot seemed rather desperate to land and was dragging over some tree tops and even breaking off some branches while shooting for a very small park in the neighborhood. I'm not sure what was the cause of the desperate measure, but those poor trees sure got shook up pretty well.
The past few days we have seen the same thing here on Hive. The BRO Community came to an end rather dramatically almost overnight. The prices of BRO, LGN, and GIFU all precipitously declined to near zero. Although some speculators have bought them up a bit now, but it's s gamble at this point. It's sad to see as many of my good friends lost not only a lot of money on their tokens but the community they participated in for so long on Discord.
A new one has been built on Discord to provide a ranting space for those who lost out. But it's sad to see yet another project here on Hive appear to come to it's end. It seems like dCity was just yesterday, and there have been far too many lately... I'm sorry to see so many investments lost not only by myself but by so many good friends!
Hive too continues to struggle, and I fear the days of even $0.14 may be lost to history. The one good piece of news is we are seeing the price remain around $0.125 which is much preferable to sub $0.10 Hive. You can see in the last 24 hours there has been a push toward $0.13 but keeps getting rejected...

Bitcoin meanwhile continues the crab walk along a sideways trajectory. I think as long as BTC stays around $110K we won't see any more dramatic losses in Hive price. But a drop below $100K could be very scary for our Hive prices. Alternatively, a pump to $150K might pull us into a recovery, but it may be short lived.

I'm not sure what the future will bring, but I do hope Hive can be resuscitated. Alt season seems to possibly now be a thing of the past as well, and the former landscape of the world of cryptocurrency as a whole. Things may get worse before they get better... But I always hold out hope!
Enough Debbie Downer for the morning. On the bright side it's going to be a beautiful sunny southern California day, and I just picked a couple lemons off the tree in the backyard. I think I may cook up some tilapia with lemon and caper sauce tonight. Easy to make and tilapia is much cheaper than red meat these days, not to mention healthier!
They don't look like your typical lemons as they are an older stock I believe. They were here when I moved in and look more oranges and are a bit sweeter than your typical lemon! They also come with a lot more seeds...

It is a lot of ranting in the new community right now, but that isn't the main focus. We just wanted a place where people could hang out the way we used to before the BRO community got all cray cray!

I was reading over there again, Ray is still the main figure of interest with many hoping for his arrest. We'll see if that dies down with time!

Hopefully Hive has stabilized a bit, I saw bitcoin drop on Friday then come back up for the weekend, we are definitely in some turbulent times at the moment!🙄

Unfortunately...Hive, Bitcoin, all the Alt coins are dropping this morning as well my friend!

Can you see a recovery? 14 cents has gone like you say, will 13 be gone.
Anyway the BRO thing is a shame, but the Debbie Downers sure made sure the tokens collapsed. I hope you guys at DUO don't cop any flak from people. My Dcity did get screwed by I was not in the BRO thing at all thanks to the Discord nonwelcome I was given from them a few years ago!

I hope we don't catch any of the bad vibes either. We have been having trouble getting LEO votes this week which is affecting our dividends a bit, we're not sure why they have cut back on the votes with InLeo Premium. But we're always looking for new revenue sources!
dCity sucked big time when it went down. Not only did I lose value on my cards but lost the curation vote too. Plus the loss of the SIM daily divs was a downer too!

Ah I did see the DUO divs were down recently, now I know why. Some people are getting votes I wonder why yours were down.

The lemon really looks like oranges
Some of the older varieties look a lot more like oranges than lemons. I think they taste better too, but the varieties you find in stores produce much more heavily on the tress making them a better choice for farmers who grow citrus!
