A Stackable Silver Poker Chip, Texas Hold'em Anyone?

The last few days have been a lot of fun watching Bitcoin climb up the charts. It's already topped $122,000 for a new all time high, the only question is now what? It's had a slight pullback the last time I checked as of the time or writing this post up. I think it may test support levels as some profit takers cash out. But I think $150,000 is real possibility in the very near future. Keep stacking up that BTC everyone!

Now onto the real reason for the post today, Texas hold 'em has become the king of poker games. I enjoy playing it myself, but I'm not a great player. Must be the lousy poker face... It was even featured in the new Casino Royale, the James Bond movie starring Daniel Craig.

Some time back I picked up a silver stackable poker chip at local jewelry shop which I frequent. I really didn't know anything about it, it just looked great. It did have some oxidation spots, but with silver rounds that not uncommon. Especially when the former owner doesn't store them in a dry environment. At any rate I was able to get this at silver spot price, that's why I love that particular shop!

Not knowing anything about it, I found the same product on APMEX:

It doesn't indicate who made it, but it is one Troy ounce of pure silver which is what counts. I didn't realize that they were meant to be stackable either until I found the info on APMEX. I think it's a pretty cool round, and one I'll hang onto. I probably won't buy any more to create an actual stack of them. I like it, but not that much! I did include the link to APMEX.com where they sell them starting at $43.61 which is $4.99 over silver spot price. The price is of course as of the time of writing up this post... So if you want one, APMEX has them!

Precious metals continue to be a great place to invest and to build personal wealth. In addition to Bitcoin I think it's a great idea to have some physical silver or gold around as it will always have value. With the threat of World War 3 growing every day, silver and gold prices will just keep rising. If the world economic system collapses, everything will likely be paid in cryptocurrency or silver/ gold. Just some food for thought!

Pretty nice poker coin. Talking about poker it's been a while since I played. Many years ago before all the regulations and even before the Black Friday, I played a lot. I made a good amount of money, not mind blowing much but good enough to pay some bills every month. I still have a bit money in some poker wallet. Just recently coin poker sent me an email about the amount left in my wallet. 🥳
I should play sometimes again. Where do you play?

I usually play with friend or occasionally at a casino. I've never really played much online that involved money, mainly because the government blacklisted it. That's great that you made some extra cash, if it helps pay a few bills why not?

It's the other way around. I played on so many poker sites just to farm the bonus. I was never in a Casino. I played friendly games with a community twice in a bar. That's it.

Pullbacks are quite normal and they should always be expected….
I think a lot of people FOMO thinking that we will never have any consolidation of spot price. It’s always best to keep a cool head, and look for those buying dips! 😇😊

I don't have any of the stackable rounds, but I really like the look of them. I might have to pick some up one day. The drop below $120k was a little discouraging today. Hopefully it doesn't happen too much more.

I don't know who made these rounds either but I have a pair of these from the last Secret Santa.

I expect 150k to be the peak this cycle, however I'm expecting BTC to still linger within 110 to 130k for 2 more months, while alts skyrocket within that period. Let's see how it goes.

I hope those alts skyrocket soon, and I think the same on $150. It's going to happen it's just a matter of when. The current correction we all knew was coming, the question is when will it take the next hike upward? Who knows?
